How we make money — the full story.

1. We are an editorial affiliate
SeatPromoHub is published by Sellencer GmbH, Berlin. We review three US ticket resale marketplaces — StubHub, Vividseats and SeatGeek — and publish promo codes we have verified at checkout. We are not a ticket seller, not an agent of any ticket platform, and not sponsored by any of the three in a way that compromises editorial independence.
2. How we earn
When you click a tracked link on our site (any link that opens the destination platform's site, including the "Reveal" button on a promo code card) and complete a qualifying purchase on that platform, the platform credits SeatPromoHub with a commission. The commission is paid by the platform out of its own margin — it does not increase the price you pay.
Commission rates currently in force (October 2026):
- SeatGeek — up to 10 % of the ticket subtotal, variable by category.
- StubHub — up to 6 % of the ticket subtotal, variable by category.
- Vividseats — up to 4 % of the ticket subtotal, variable by category.
These rates are set by the platforms, not negotiated per publisher. The rates differ, which creates a theoretical bias toward recommending the highest-paying platform. We disclose this openly on the comparison page and the about page, and our editorial ordering does not match the commission ordering.
3. What we don't do
- We do not accept paid placement to feature a specific promo code.
- We do not accept paid placement to re-rank or re-score a platform in our reviews.
- We do not list codes that fail our weekly checkout verification.
- We do not run display advertising, affiliate pop-ups from other networks, or sponsored content from parties outside the three marketplaces reviewed.
4. Attribution cookies & tracking
When you click a "Reveal" button, your browser is redirected to the destination platform through an affiliate network URL that writes a short-lived first-party cookie on the destination site. That cookie identifies the subsequent transaction as having been referred by SeatPromoHub. The cookie contains an opaque publisher identifier, not personal data about you. See the cookies notice for the mechanics; see the privacy notice for the lawful basis under GDPR.
5. Trademarks
"StubHub" and the StubHub logo are trademarks of StubHub Inc. "Vividseats" and the Vividseats logo are trademarks of Vivid Seats LLC. "SeatGeek" and the SeatGeek logo are trademarks of SeatGeek Inc. All used solely for descriptive reference. SeatPromoHub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by any of these companies.
